Advertise your dance events, classes and other news free on this website

If you are already a member of AreYouDancing you can register as an organiser. If you are not yet a member you can join and register at the same time.

It is very easy to add events to our website. Once an event has been added the information is stored as a template. The next time you wish to add a similar event all you have to do is add the date(s).

Reach a wider audience

Notification of your events will be emailed regularly to all dancers who have specified an interested in your dance
style(s) in your region.

Automatically notify members of event cancellations or important changes

We automatically notify members who have registered an interest in your event if you have to cancel, change the date or change the venue.

Your events updated for you

If you do not have time to keep your own events up to date, we can add/update these for you for as little as £1, £2 or £3 per month (min one year), depending on the size of your organisation. Please contact us for more information.

Link to your own website

We provide a FREE link to your website from our Dance Directory pages - all we ask is for a reciprocal link from your website to AreYouDancing.

Map showing location of your events:

If you enter the postcode of your venue, members will be able to view a map (Google Maps) showing the location of the event.

Calendar page for your website:

We can provide you with a calendar page for your website that will only show your own events. This will automatically be updated every time you add an event to the AreYouDancing website.

The calendar will link to pages detailing full information about each of your events. If you have supplied a postcode for the venue, a map (from Google Maps) showing the location will also be available, together with directions if you have supplied these.

These pages will match your own style and colour, with your headings, so will appear to be part of your website. They will be optimised for search engine indexing (SEO). There is no charge or ongoing cost for a calendar page linking to your website.

No website?

If you do not have a website we can provide one for you, for minimal cost or even no charge at all. This can include a calendar and/or list of your own events (plus class details and news items) that will automatically be updated from the AreYouDancing website. The calendar will link to pages detailing full information about each of your events. If you have supplied a postcode for the venue, a map (from Google Maps) showing the location will also be available, together with directions if you have supplied these.

All pages will be optimised for search engine indexing (SEO). You can use your own web address if you have one, or we can buy one on your behalf. Alternatively we will provide you with an address as an extension of AreYouDancing such as www.AreYouDancing.com/yourname

For small or non profit making organisations there is currently no charge for this service, although we may have to introduce a small "set up" fee at a later date. Hosting is free for the first 12 months. Thereafter we charge £1 + VAT per month (min 12 months). For larger organisations we charge a nominal £50 + VAT for building your website, and £2 + VAT per month (min 12 months) for hosting

Event listing websites

We would be happy for you to use our functionality in your website. Members will then be able to register their interest in an event directly from your website. Please contact us for more information.

For the Future

The following have not yet been implemented, but are listed to give you an idea of features we hope to offer you soon

  • Help creating your newsletters:

    Generate a list of your forthcoming events, including descriptions, directions and other information, for use in your newsletters.

  • See how many people have registered an interest in your event and other statistics:

    Statistics that we would like to offer you soon will include the number of page views for each of your events, together with the number of dancers who have registered an interest in it.

    This information will only be available to the organiser of a particular event, and will not be available to other visitors to the website. To protect the privacy of members, you will be supplied with numbers rather than individual names.
