About Pastime Historical Dance Group

Pastime Historical Dance is an enthusiastic group of dancers. We have performed at various National Trust Properties and many private events. All our dances and costumes are based on period research.

We run regular dance classes from 1.30 - 5.00 on alternate Saturday afternoons throughout the year. Everyone is welcome whether experience dancers or complete beginners. All dances are called and we often have visiting expert tutors specialising in different historical periods.

We offer demonstrations, talks and period music and often host our own events featuring traditional English Folk Dancing based on the work of John Playford.
