The Big Ceilidh! The best way to see in the new year, always with one of the top UK bands and callers.
Jigfoot are our band this year - a five-piece with two fiddles, guitar, cello and melodeon.
They play traditional dance tunes with energy, inventiveness and, above all, swing. This is music that defies you to stay still, whether it's at a dance or in a concert performance.
Their repertoire is mainly, although not exclusively, from southern English sources, especially their home county of Hampshire. They work closely with dancers Simon and Jo Harmer developing material based around their inspirational southern English step dancing. www.jigfoot.com
The caller will be Barry Goodman, as usual - nationally known and respected, with a great repertoire of dances.
With our Grand Raffle, a free tot of whisky at midnight, and Auld Lang Syne it'll be an evening to remember!
There is a limit of 80 tickets, and we sold out weeks before the event last year, so don't hesitate, order your tickets as soon as we start selling - at the October Unicorn Ceilidh.
Tickets after that from the ceilidhs or Alan on 07946 439095, or firstname.lastname@example.org
