Four week intensive courses for most ballroom and Latin dances

Dance Styles: Argentine Tango, Cha Cha (Club), Foxtrot, Modern Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Waltz

Price: £7 for one lesson, £20 for four consecutive lessons over four weeks

Two practice rooms, qualified male instructors with experienced and helpful assistants, big dance floor (downstairs) , good sound system, five minutes from the tube station (Colliers Wood) about equal numbers of men and women, over half the students are under forty, free tea, big car park, cosmopolitan and friendly crowd, no partner necessary, three levels of lessons lasting from 3.30 pm to 9 pm every Sunday.
We also hold improver level classes every Friday taught by former world champion Raymond Root from 7.30 pm to 10 pm
From 8 pm, every Sunday we hold a social dance, entry to which is £5.You can bring your own drinks, we supply glasses Once every two months we hire an orchestra. These dances is attended by around fifty dancers, amny of whom are good dancers. We do this so that our newer students can put their newly acquired dance theory into practice in a social situation.
We pay a low rent , so are able to offer four week courses for just £20 for the whole four weeks for all levels. Or one night only on Sundays is £7. Fridays is £10 for the night. You pay in cash on the door.

Colliers Wood Community Centre venue

1960s building with good natural ventilation and a large dance floor, large free car park, free tea and water. The nearest tube station is Colliers Wood, which is only 300 yards from the building, which is along the well lit and busy main road
Colliers Wood is on the Northern Line and connects directly to Balham, Waterloo, Elephant and Castle, London Bridge, Kings Cross, Charing Cross, Euston, and is less than half an hour from Victoria, Vauxhall, Blackfriars and Liverpool Street stations. There are buses (219, 57 and 131) every two or three minutes from Wimbledon and Tooting station, which stop almost outside the building (at the Walpole Road stop)

Four minutes walk from Colliers Wood tube station along well lit High Street. Turn right out of the station, cross the road and it's 400 yards up the High Street on the left hand side. Trains run until after midnight, and Balham, Wimbledon and Clapham Junciton are fifteen minutes away by public transport, or it's under thirty minutes to Victoria, Waterloo, Charing Cross and Kings Cross/St Pancras, Or for car owners there's a large free car park behind the building
