Swingland’s Tuesday night classes and club C Jam enjoyed an 18-year run at The Bedford before the recent £multi-million renovation and we’re over the moon to be back in the Ballroom, with probably London’s finest dance floor for swing dancing!
Lindy hop is the original swing (jive) dance style – smooth, cool and flowing or highly athletic and energetic, but always happy and playful. With roots in the Charleston, Breakaway and other styles, it is danced primarily to Big Band Swing but can be danced to everything from hot jazz, early rnb, rock’n’roll and lounge swing.
Come and join us to learn and dance on Tuesdays from 7.30pm – just turn up, no need to book and no partner needed either!
