Ballroom and Latin American Dance Classes

Dance Styles: American Smooth, Cha Cha Cha (Ballroom), Foxtrot, Jive (Ballroom), Modern Tango, Old Time Dancing, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Rumba, Samba, Popular Sequence, Viennese Waltz, Waltz, Modern Sequence

Price: £7.50 per person per evening

Time: 6.45-9.30p.m.

Ballroom and Latin American Dance Classes:
7.15pm - Beginners
8.15pm - Improvers
9.00pm - Advance

Beginners - for anyone who has never danced before or have danced very little. One dance is taught for several weeks before moving onto another dance style. In this class the basic Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, Waltz, Tango, Social Foxtrot, Quickstep will be taught over the course of approx 1 year. We advise pupils to remain in the class for approx 2 years before progressing onto the Improvers Class. This will ensure that all steps are memorized ensuring an easier transgression to the Improvers Class.
Improvers - for anyone who has taken part in our Beginners classes or who know the basics of the dances taught at beginner level. We will also add Foxtrot and Samba to this level. You will be invited to take part in the Advance class when we feel you are ready.
Advance - for dancers who know and understand standard figures in each dance style. In this class we will be introducing Paso Doble and Viennese Waltz.
