This is a jive dance in memory of Sharryn Reeves, my partner for 18 years (wife for 11 of those). We both thoroughly loved Swing Dancing and kept us going throughout her illness.
She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2018 after suffering stomach pains for 12 months or more, but it did not stop us from dancing.
Sharryn is greatly missed and this dance is to celebrate her life whilst raising awareness of Ovarian Cancer.
Rockin’ John will be the Compare for the night with Tequila Slammers on stage performing music to Lindy Hop and Jive to.
