"Step into the elegant world of English Country Dance, where Jane Austen’s ballroom meets a rich folk tradition! In this inclusive workshop, you’ll learn simple, flowing dances from the 17th to 19th centuries, guided by renowned caller Louise Siddons and set to beautiful live music from Anglo-American accordion and fiddle duo Alex Cumming and Audrey Jaber. No need for a partner or previous experience, so whether you’re a Bridgerton fan, a historical dance nerd, or just curious, come and give it a whirl!
If you like the sound of this, you might also be interested in attending Monday's English Country Dance workshop with Jemima Swain, the annual Playford Ball on Tuesday afternoon, and our Contra Dance workshops!"
