Please keep your password safe, and do not divulge it to anyone. Avoid using obvious choices for passwords such as family, pet or other names. Please change your password regularly. We recommend that you do not use the same password as used on other websites (especially banking websites).

If an organisation or person running an event is previously unknown to you, please check they are legitimate before contacting them (as they will then have your email address), attending an event, or sending payment. It would also be prudent to attend the event with a friend.

Most people are honest. However, please use your own common sense and the above guidelines to avoid unwelcome attention, and even danger, from the few who may wish to cause you harm.
