About Rutland Big Band and Rutland Ambassadors

We are the "biggest band from the smallest county" in England. We are very active band and run a regular swing dance evening in Oakham, various 1940s nights and play at wedding and other events. We have a classic big band line up of horns and feature both male and female vocalists.
We are more than happy to collaborate with dance groups to ensure the very best set lists for dancers and we try our best to accommodate any specific requests.

We also run a smaller 11-peice band, The Rutland Ambassadors, for strict tempo ballroom dances, functions and dinner music.
