About St George's Dance Club

St Georges Dance Club has been a part of the Harrogate/North Yorkshire dance scene for many, many years.

We occupied the St Georges Sports and Social Club at the top of St Georges Road for many years until recently, when we had to vacate, due to the sale of the site for re-development.

We have been extremely fortunate to find a wonderful new home at the Granby, now a Care Home, but previously the Granby Hotel with a beautiful ballroom that has been preserved and maintained in its original splendour.

We have a loyal, vibrant and friendly membership, but are always looking for new dancers to join us. Sequence and some ballroom dances are every Tuesday and the 2nd Saturday each month. Ballroom, Latin and Sequence 50/50 are held every Wednesday and the 3rd Sunday each month. Admission includes tea/coffee and biscuits.

For those wishing to improve their Sequence dances and learn new ones, tuition is included before the dances on Wednesdays and Sundays. Sequence tuition on Tuesdays is possible if there is sufficient demand.

Membership fee £10 per annum. £4.50 per session members. £6.00 non-members
