T-Jive run weekly classes on Tuesdays and Sunday Tea Dances.
Dancing is probably the best exercise you can get for mind and body, it increases lung capacity, tones muscle, improves balance by strengthening the core and helps with mental agility not to mention the pluses of relaxing and socialising all in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
T-Jive is a variation of modern jive. An enjoyable and easy to learn partner dance, smoother than Rock ‘n Roll, but just as much fun. Wow your family and friends at get togethers and parties with all your new moves! We aim to teach the fundamentals of the dance to give you a firm foundation so you are able to dance impressive routines from day one and from absolute beginners through to intermediate. It’s okay to come on your own or with a partner or a friend, we have several dancers who instruct and lead or follow. Make new friends and have fun. The Kettle is always on for tea and biscuits whilst chatting and getting to know each other.
