About Kindred Spirits Folk Dance Club

English Country Dancing is an elegant, accessible and popular form of community social dance that is the perfect way to keep fit whilst having fun and making friends.

In this form of dancing, dancers dance in pairs to each other and other pairs in a group. The instruction for each figure is given in time with the music so there is no need to rely on memory alone.

Newcomers are welcome anytime and should be reassured that all dances are walked through, fully explained and easy to learn. No experience is necessary, no special clothing is needed, and there is no need to bring a partner - just bring your enthusiasm and a sense of fun!
