About Celt-Jive

Celt-Jive is based at the Ewloe Social Club in North Wales and its title pays homage to the Welsh Celts of the 18th Century (similar to both Irish and Scottish)
Pawl Anthony and his dance partner Lynn Jones have been dancing Modern Jive for 15 years and in those early years, entered competitions and were the Uk Double Trouble Champions at Blackpool in 2011.
They also competed in the Midlands and Welsh Championships.
They have been teaching for 9 years but for the last 8 years Pawl and Lynn have been teaching on international Dance Holidays as well as other Dance Weekenders in the UK.
Pawl has travelled extensively all over the UK visiting venues on the dance circuit and meeting new dancers.
Pawls teaching and presentation skills qualifications comes from Yale College, Wrexham , and has vast experience teaching to groups of dancers.
They have now moved forward with that knowledge and experience and launched their own Modern Jive venue at
EWLOE SOCIAL CLUB,
OLD MOLD ROAD,
EWLOE CH53AU..which is a small fully airconditioned club with large car parking
Licensed bar and good dancefloor.
Pawl also runs Double Trouble workshops..

So come and join us for a great night of dancing every Thursday between 7.30-10.30pm.

Class nights are open to all dancers and will consist of 35 minute beginners lesson and 35 minute intermediate lesson.
This leaving plenty of time for freestyle dancing.
