About Sandbach & District Caledonian Society

Sandbach & District Caledonian Society was founded in 1958.
We are a Scottish Country Dance Society Meeting on Tuesdays throughout the year from 7pm to 9:30pm in The Literary Institute Sandbach.
We have step & formation practice aimed at beginners, but open to all, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
This is followed by general dancing until 9:30pm, with a break for refreshments at half time.
We hold a Highland Ball, a St Andrew's Dinner Dance, a President's Evening, an Invitation Evening & a Hogmanay Dance.
We are members of the Lancashire & Cheshire Federation of Scottish Societies, an organisation of about 40 Scottish Societies in the area including some Societies in North Wales.
