About Dancing with Jacquie

I am a qualified Ballroom Dance Teacher with The International Dance Teachers Association (I.D.T.A.) I was classically trained with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Incorporated (I.S.T.D.) in Classsical Ballet, Cecchetti Method. I was taught Old Time Dancing from the age of 5 and competed in many dance competitions until the age of 16, becoming a County Champion and dancing in 3 National Championships achieving All England Champion along with my life-long dance partner Freya. I took all my medal exams up to the 6th Gold Bar with the I.D.T.A. More recently I was introduced to Sequence Dancing and now try to keep up to date with the newly invented Modern Sequence Dances but I am equally as keen to continue with the more traditional Social Sequence Dances.
