About Ceroc Yorkshire

It is easy to learn to dance with Ceroc, great fun and is a lot more fun than the gym! The hardest thing is coming for the first time but when you do just remember, everyone in the room started in exactly the same way.

We run weekly Ceroc dance classes, monthly intensive workshops and social dance events at various venues across West and North Yorkshire.

Ceroc is a blend of other styles, we take influences from Jive, Salsa, along with other latin and ballroom dances. If you’ve not seen ceroc before, the best thing would be to have a look at this on youtube:

There is no specific footwork to try and remember, Ceroc make learning to dance easy, fun and extremely social.
No partner is needed, there are plenty of people at our classes to partner up with on the night,
We have a simple pay as you dance system, so no block bookings are needed like in some other dance styles.

Once you've grasped the basics, join in at our party nights (we call them freestyles) and dance with other dancers from across the region. Freestyle events are an amazing mix of music, dancing, socialising and progression. It's the reason why we have lessons, to get as many people as possible dancing socially!
