About Classique Ballroom

Ballroom and Latin American dance classes for adults of all ages and abilities from our fully equipped Portsmouth studio.

Our group classes are relaxed and friendly, offering the chance to learn set routines as well as understanding how to navigate on a busy dance floor. Private lessons are available for those who prefer to learn in a one-to-one setting and we hold a practise session every Friday to allow you to work on your dancing without the pressure of a 'proper' social dance event!

We also offer Wedding Dance lessons with full choreography to the song of your choice.

Medal Examinations with the United Kingdom Alliance (UKA) are available for those who wish to take their social dancing a step further.

For those who enjoy performing, you'll have the option to join us in our annual stage show at the The New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth as well as take part in performances and demonstrations at several fetes and events in our local area throughout the year.

Regular social events include tea dances and parties, as well as annual trips to Blackpool (afternoon tea and dancing at the Tower Ballroom!) and Vienna (put your glad rags on and attend an actual Viennese Ball!)
