About Sunday Social

A friendly, relaxed social dance for all, with an accent on faster music. Plenty of swingy numbers for the Lindy hoppers together with lots of hot, pacey tunes for the bal, shag and solo dancers out there.

In the first hour you can expect some medium tempo, swingy tunes for the Lindy hoppers to ease you in. Thereafter more hot tunes will be thrown into the mix  for the Bal, Shag and Solo dancers out there!!

Come and join us and have a chat and a dance! You can book a Sunday Lunch beforehand or there are Pizzas and snacks available at the bar if you get hungry!

Dances generally take place on the first (sometimes second) Sunday of the month with occasional Bal, Shag or Lindyhop workshops beforehand, which can be booked separately. Watch this space for details.

This is a not for profit dance set up by swing dancers for swing dancers. When finances allow we aim to support our local musicians and pay for a live band. If you want to be a part of it and help grow your local dance community please get in touch.

Please note that split social dance tickets are now available for parents/carers who need to share childcare.
