Ballroom and Latin American Dance Lessons/Classes

Dance Styles: Cha Cha Cha (Ballroom), Cha Cha (Club), Foxtrot, Jive (Ballroom), Modern Jive, Modern Tango, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Rumba, Samba, Viennese Waltz, Waltz

Price: £7.50 per person per evening.

Time: From 7.30 to 9.30 p.m.

Ballroom and Latin American Dance Classes:

7.30 - 8.30 - Beginners
8.30 - 9.30 - Improvers

Beginners - for anyone who has never danced before or have danced very little. One dance is taught for several weeks before moving onto another dance style. In this class the basic Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, Waltz, Tango, Social Foxtrot, Quickstep will be taught over the course of approx 1 year. We advise pupils to remain in the class for approx 2 years before progressing onto the Improvers Class. This will ensure that all steps are memorized ensuring an easier transgression to the Improvers Class.
Improvers - for anyone who has taken part in our Beginners classes or who know the basics of the dances taught at beginner level. We will also add Foxtrot and Samba to this level. You will be invited to take part in the Advance class when we feel you are ready.

1:1 Lessons - These are great if you wish to learn a particular dance, have missed a class, for a wedding dance or just would prefer a 1:1 lesson. Cost £30.00 per hour, or £15 for 30 minutes. There are usually two couples in the hall at the same time. Each having their own qualified ISTD teacher for their individual needs. They do not have to be every week.
