Nice, easy Scottish style ceilidh dances. All walked through and called as you dance.
Dance Styles: Scottish Ceilidh
Price: £5 at the door. Cash or card. No need to book in advance
Time: Get there for 19:45. Dancing starts at 20:00 till 23:00 with a 30 minute break half way through.

Just rock up, £5 on the door. No need to book in advance. You can pay by cash or card🎉 You don't need to be a member of the Nottingham Ceilidh Club to join in the fun.
We will be dancing to recorded music (very retro✨). Although we might have a band🎸🎻 There will be plenty walkthroughs of the dances with Schuggie calling as we dance as well
Ceilidhs (pronounced "Kay-leas") are enjoyed by all ages – from youngsters' first Scottish dancing experience to old-timers out enjoying a burl.
People come dressed in jeans, full highland dress – and everything in between😍
Wear something comfortable to dance in.
You don't need to know what to do –I'll be calling the dances and explaining what you need to do as you go along.
There are lots of friendly folks to give you a hand and get everyone up dancing.
Lastly, please don't take your own alcohol into the pub 🍻 Buy your drinks from the bar and don't forget B&H charge for water 🙄
Ceilidhs will be recorded to improve the dancer's experience ie how I call the dances, and to advertise future ceilidh along with improving dancers' experience.

Function room at the back of a nice pub. Off road free parking.
10 minutes’ walk from Beeston train station
15 minutes’ walk from the Tram, Skylink or Indigo bus stops
5 minute walk from the No18 bus stop on Meadow road
Beeston Rylands is 5 miles south of Nottingham. Having found a road into Beeston follow signs at traffic lights south towards the Railway Station then keep straight on over the road bridge over the railway line. Immediately after the bridge keep going down meadow road and take the 5th turn on the right onto Grenville Road. Then turn left onto Trent road and the Boat and horses is on your left hand side towards the canal end. You will find the car park entrance on your left hand side just before the pub. The ceilidh will be in their function room through the back.
