Introduction to Salsa - Workshop

We have two lovely Salsa dancers that come to our classes, Richard and Jax.
They have agreed to introduce you to a bit of Salsa!

Salsa is a Latin dance, associated with the music genre of the same name,
which was first popularized in the United States in the 1960s in New York City.
Salsa is a mixture of Cuban dances, such as mambo, pachanga and rumba, as well as American dances such as swing and tap.

So as you can see by the description you will be able to take the feel and moves of this dance and maybe incorporate
into your social swing dancing!

This will be 2 x 1hr(ish) sessions with a break in the middle.
Going through some standard moves and shapes plus learning the feel of the dance

Followed by 1.1/2 hours(ish) of social dance practice to perfect those new moves and incorporate them into your dancing.

We will rotate to help with your lead and follow techniques, so you can book without a partner.

£18 per person.
