As usual the evening starts with a jive class aimed at beginners, followed by a DJ set, two sets from the band and a final hour of DJ’ing. Dancing until 1am. Licenced bar.

After their sell-out gig at our November Jive Party we're thrilled to announce the return of the incredible Memphis Lee & The Creepers for your 20 May event. There are not many rock n roll stages big and small around Britain this 6-piece band haven't played. And, if you're a fan of that authentic rock n roll sound, you won't be disappointed. The Creepers deliver the sounds of Bill Haley, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry to name but four, in style, with two guitars, sax, piano, bass and drums topped with belting vocals. The band members have worked with many famous names from the rock n roll and rockabilly scenes - names like Mike Sanchez, James Hunter and Si Cranstoun, and some that might surprise you, like Eric Clapton and Imelda May. So be sure to book your spot at The Rivoli on May 20th - whatever the weather outside, it's going to be one hot rock n roll night inside. As usual, there will also be a jive class for beginners 8:30pm - 9pm, a licensed and reasonably priced cash-only bar and if you're very good a free lolly or two at the end of the night. This is such a friendly night.
