This class is attended by those new to Scottish Country Dancing and also regular dancers who want to improve their footwork and the way they dance. Beginners get a lot of support, not just from the teacher, Wendy Brakes, but also from those who can already dance.
As well as a warm up and step practice, the session also includes learning and perfecting formations and learning new dances.
This is a fun way to learn and very social. Individuals are welcome as well as couples and we all interchange so everyone gets used to dancing with different partners.
Beginners would be requested to join the Stafford & District Caledonian Society - £10 annual membership and then £3 per evening staying to the main class as long as you wish (20:00hrs up to 23:00)
