Beginners/improvers Lindy hop workshop, 10:45am to 12:45pm
This workshop is aimed at those new to swing dancing, or looking to improve their Lindy hop basics. We will cover 8-count fundamentals including the swing out, Lindy turn, and circle - these are the main steps that you need to know well before joining our intermediates classes. No partner needed (we rotate throughout) - although you may stay together if you do have a partner. Expect to have lots of fun - and a few challenges!

The Hammersmith Club venue
The Hammersmith Club is a stunning period dance hall in the heart of West London.
Lovely smooth wooden dance floor. Fully licensed bar in the dance hall.
By tube - Piccadilly, District or Hammermsith & City Lines to Hammersmith, 5-10 minutes walk.
From the tube exit walk up King Street and turn left opposite Primark then continue straight (Bridge Ave then Bridge View after crossing under the flyover) until you reach Rutland Grove (look for Digby Mansions).
Turn right into Rutland Grove and the venue is on your left nestled between smart townhouses.
By bus - any bus over Hammersmith Bridge - there is a stop right at the end of Rutland Grove.
By car - Just off the A4, Hammersmith is easily accessible by car from all directions. There is parking outside the venue in Rutland Grove, and in local streets - free after 6.30pm. Alternatively Kings Mall car park is just off King Street, 5 mins walk from the venue, and is very good value.
