An introduction to the main Ballroom & Latin dances
Dance Styles: Cha Cha Cha (Ballroom), Foxtrot, Jive (Ballroom), Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Popular Sequence, Waltz
Price: £7 per week
Time: 8.00pm - 9.00pm

Join Ollie, Peter and Viv for this rolling programme of workshops which give you a taste of the most popular ballroom and latin american dances such as the waltz, cha cha, jive, foxtrot, salsa and samba. Don't worry if you are unavailable some weeks - each week is a stand alone session - although it's great if you can do all 8. Places are limited, so you're advised to pre-book.
Friendly atmosphere, great teaching, small groups. Bring out the 'Strictly' in you and 'give it a go'. Dance for fitness, friendship and FUN!'

Priory Lane Community Centre venue
A Centre for young people and other members of the community, with a particular focus on the performing arts
(formerly known as Penwortham Youth Centre).
Situated around 20 yards off the main shopping street, Liverpool Road
There are a number of rooms where classes operate, plus a 'coffee bar'/community library.
Heading from Preston on Liverpool Rd up Penwortham hill, turn right into Priory Lane at the traffic lights at the cross roads at the junction with Cop Lane. The centre is 20 yd on the left. Small car park plus on road parking
