The new band Moonlighting will be playing down stairs next to the bar. Dancing encouraged!

This is a bar gig on a soggy Sunday afternoon, but the management and customers love the spectacle of some swing dance, there will be a dance floor in front of the band. It's been done before and was a great event with music fans loving the dancing too. They do great beer, wine and pizza and entry is free!
"Moonlighting" has evolved out of Honeymoon Swing who have been gaining momentum for four years playing at some of the best vintage and swing dance festivals in Britain and numerous clubs, pubs and parties. The name has changed to Moonlighting to reflect the changes in personnel with the addition of a different guitar player, singer and drummer. The repertoire will remain much the same but the sound should be even tighter than before with tunes suitable for lindy hop, Balboa and Shag. Entry is Free! As this is a promotional event for the band. Smokey Joe's is a very atmospheric intimate venue in Cheltenham town centre - but with parking very near- it has space for dancing and has frequent swing dance events through the year.
