Learn vintage swing dancing in the classic Lindy Hop style.

Time: 7pm Improvers, 8pm Beginners, 9pm Social dance.

Come and join Swing North for our weekly Lindy Hop, Balboa & Collegiate Shag lessons in Manchester each Tuesday, in our temporary venue, near the city centre. Afterwards, our social dance continues from 9pm until late.
There's no need to book, just turn up and pay for the evening on arrival. It's £8 for the whole evening, or £5 for just the social. You don't need to bring a partner, as you get to meet and dance with everybody in the class, due to our circle based learning, and regular rotation.
7pm Collegiate Shag and Lindy Hop Improver classes
8pm Balboa Lindy and Lindy Hop Beginners classes
9pm Social dancing
Wear any comfortable clothes, and any flat shoes. Cheap pumps are good. It can get a bit sweaty, so it's best to avoid jumpers and jeans.

Hallé St. Peter's venue
Our classes and events at the Hallé Orchestra's St. Peter's rehearsal facility, take place in the main former church space, and in the Victoria Wood room upstairs. Occasionally we also use St. Michael's on nearby George Leigh St, as an additional space.
Head through the main entrance from Cutting Room Square, and ask for directions for the class(es) or social.
