Small group courses where we work together on jazz & swing footwork rhythms, riffs and full routines.
These classes are designed to really extend you as a dancer, by working on coordination and technique as well as supporting improvisation and performance.
A fun and friendly class where it's all about exploring together.
Original material by Nikki and Classic material from the 1920s- 1940s.

A 6-week course exploring the "Dean Collins Shim Sham". An Intermediate-Advanced level solo jazz routine. Basing his dance on the classic shim sham, Dean Collins would create many variations. This version is the one that was reconstructed and continues to be taught. We will be looking at the history of the routine, focussing on various elements and dancing it to various pieces of music over the 6 weeks. Also streamed live on zoom - not recorded.
