What is St Louis Shag?
St Louis Shag is part of the swing dance family that evolved from the Collegiate Shag, Lindy hop and Charleston. It is an up tempo partner dance
St Louis Shag is a territory swing dance which originated in St Louis, Missouri in the 1930's.
Even though St Louis Shag is not as well known as Collegiate Shag, it is danced and taught at swing dance festivals, particularly abroad.
