What is SILC?
SILC is a partner dance, danced to slower music than Ceroc. Slow music can be exposing, and means that we have more time to fill with movement. It follows that we need different technique to keep in time and rhythm with the music.
This workshop will teach you movements and technique which will help you gain confidence in dancing to slower music. These workshops are a great opportunity for people who want to elevate their dancing; who love slower, more lyrical styles of music; who want to give their technique and style a boost; who wish to learn how to dance in the SILC room; who like technique and precision; and who are looking to learn another dance style.
Arrive at 11:30pm so we can start on time. This is a 2 hour workshop with a short break half way through. Complimentary water will be provided.
There will be 15 mins of free practice time after the workshop 1:45pm - 2pm.

If you've danced Blues, Expressive Blues or WCS it will be an easy transition to the world of SILC.

We plan to rotate dancers during this workshop but please let us know if you have booked as a couple and wish to stay together.
