Come join Northern Clogger and star Accordeonist Heather Ferrier as she introduces you to English clog dancing. The session will guide you through the basics of clog dancing, as well as learning some steps that originate from the Lancashire style. Clogs will be provided (sizes dependant). No experience necessary.

Sarah Thorne Theatre venue
The Sarah Thorne Theatre hosts all the dance workshops and ceilidhs at this year's Broadstairs Folk Week. The dances start on Friday 8 August and finish on Friday 15 August 2025.
The theatre is on the way into Broadstairs High Street, a short walk from the festival campsite at Dane Court School and the train station. There is very limited car parking but street parking is available and the nearest car park is St.Peter's Park Road which is at the other end of Fordoun Road. There is an on-site bar and toilets.
