Fund-raising Social Dance for AgeUK

A Afternoon of Social Ballroom, Latin and Sequence dancing to the music of Mark Helmore.

Dance Styles: Cha Cha Cha (Ballroom), Foxtrot, Jive (Ballroom), Modern Tango, Old Time Dancing, Quickstep, Rumba, Samba, Popular Sequence, Viennese Waltz, Waltz, Modern Sequence

Price: £8.00 dancers, £4.00 spectators

Time: 2.00 - 4.30pm (Doors open 1.30)

Ticket Options: Ticket recommended (pay on door if places available)

All proceeds from this dance will go to the Charity Age UK Somerset. The afternoon is a fun, inclusive opportunity for regular social dancers to enjoy Mark Helmore's beautiful music in the Pavilion Ballroom of Weston's Winter Gardens. There will be short demonstrations by participants in local Age UK Classes in the region which these funds will help to support, alongside the charity's wider work. There will also be a short demonstration of Classical Sequence dances by Weston's own current Blackpool Champions Jen and Brad. Do come along to support as dancers or spectators.

We are indebted to Weston College for allowing this event to go ahead during their renovation and new team period. You will be able to buy cake, teas and coffees at the event.
