Banwood is a lively and friendly folk dance club that meets nearly every Wednesday throughout the year, with just a break for August. We use a wide range of callers, including some of our own members, to provide an interesting variety of dances and styles. No two weeks are the same!
We also enjoy a night of dancing to live music once a month. These special evenings create a lovely atmosphere - and there is no extra charge for admission. The musicians include virtuoso violinist Linda Game (formerly of ECD Band) and Tom and Julia Barnes of Eclectic Regency.
The club meets in St Ann's church hall on a slip road off Burgh Wood on the A217. It is close to Banstead, Sutton, Epsom and surrounding areas. There is a car park and parking is also available on the nearby roads.
Banwood will soon be celebrating its 100th birthday (in 2028) but shows no signs of slowing down! For full details of our club and programme see our website: https://e-voice.org.uk/banwoodfolkdanceclub/
St Ann's Church Hall venue
