The course will combine: rhythm drills, step exercises and short combinations of steps such as Fall off the Log, Boogies, Apple Jacks and more...
Limited studio places. Minimum numbers required for course to run.
This course will be followed by a two-week course to learn a full routine. Details tbc

A 6-week course exploring the "Dean Collins Shim Sham". An Intermediate-Advanced level solo jazz routine. Basing his dance on the classic shim sham, Dean Collins would create many variations. This version is the one that was reconstructed and continues to be taught. We will be looking at the history of the routine, focussing on various elements and dancing it to various pieces of music over the 6 weeks. Also streamed live on zoom - not recorded.
Venue: Dance studio (5th floor). Sign in at reception.
