Level is suitable for:
-those who have never danced before
- those who have danced other dances but not TANGO or
- those who have only taken a few lessons
We cover the fundamentals and get you dancing gorgeous tango moves.
We will work in St Eanswythe School Hall, max 10 couples, so you will have plenty of space and enable us to be attentive to you whilst developing your ability to navigate the dance floor.
The 7 week course will offer the fundamentals of Argentine Tango, from Richard’s 26 years of experience teaching. We will teach fundamentals through beautiful intricate movements that Argentine Tango is known for.
We aim to prepare you for social dancing- the underground community of Tango dancers in Kent will welcome you to events throughout the week should you wish to attend.
Option to continue to term 2 (7 weeks) that will run straight on from the final week (details to be provided nearer the time), should you enjoy the dance and wish to continue learning with us !
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a change of shoes that allow sliding on a wooden floor.
If you are booking as a single dancer, we will need to pair you with another dancer who wishes to do the other part of the dance (leading or following).

PARKING ON SITE - Drive up to the Bayle turn right through a narrow entrance, before you get to the square, that will open up to the school playground.
If you've been keeping your head low when milonga or vals tandas start....or have never danced either style before, these workshops are for you !We have designed two workshops as introductions to Vals and Milonga, in which you will become familiar with the rhythms in and learn some simple yet effective steps for each.We welcome all levels with the exception of absolute beginners.
