Enjoy an evening of great live music, dancing, and socialising, with R & Bebop - an all-star 5-piece featuring Peter Long and Denny Ilett playing Swing and early 50s R&B, along with a smattering of Bop, for your dancing and listening pleasure. Dizzy Gillespie, Slim Gaillard and other giants of jazz...!
Jumpin' At The Woodlands is Swingland's occasional Saturday night at WERFA Pavilion, Isleworth (home of our weekly Wednesday night Lindy hop class and practice, Hoppin').
Featuring the very best live swing music from today's top jazz and swing musicians, for both listening and dancing - as well as a swing DJ to keep you on the floor during the band breaks. The first band set is a sit-down session, with nibbles available from the bar, which is open all evening. Then we pull back the tables for the band's second set, aimed very much at dancing! You can book the whole evening, or just the second half.
Everyone is welcome - you don't need any dance experience.
There is no dress code - smart/vintage/retro attire is always appreciated, although absolutely not required!

By rail - Isleworth Station, 10-15 minutes walk.
By bus - any bus to Isleworth Station, 10-15 minutes walk, or to Isleworth Memorial, 15-20 minutes walk - the closest stop to the venue is Woodlands Road, on St. John's Road near the Woodlands Tavern, which is served by the H37 and 117 buses.
By car - There is a small car park, first-come, first-served, adjacent to the hall - there is also free parking in the local roads around the venue - please be respectful of residents and take care not to block driveways etc.
