Brand new to Modern Jive?
In your first few weeks and wishing you could pick things up a little quicker?
Not quite sure if you’re ready for the jump to Intermediate level?
Or been dancing a little while but some elements don’t feel quite right?
This workshop is designed just for you!

💡 What We’ll Cover
We’ll focus on the core building blocks of Modern Jive; clear and effective lead and follow, connection, posture, footwork patterns, spins and turns.
This will all be taught through a selection of essential Modern Jive moves that will give you confidence on the dancefloor.
For those who’ve been dancing a little longer, we’ll add in some Improvers elements to give you a taste of what’s ahead – perfect if you’re thinking about stepping into Intermediate classes soon.

🎯 The Goal
By the end of the afternoon you’ll be dancing short routines with safe, stylish technique to a variety of music. If you’re newer, you’ll feel more confident with the basics. If you’ve got a little more experience, you may even feel ready to give Intermediate classes a go at our weekly events.
