The fabulous Jim Wynn band will be playing at our Sunday afternoon balboa dance just outside Lichfield in Whittington. The hall has a wonderful well polished sprung wooden dance floor and there’s a free cream tea included.
All the music will be suitable for fast dances with a mix of tempos within that range. The band comes to life at these higher tempos and the skill of the musicians really shows.
To be sure of a place, buy your ticket in advance -either online or book with cash at class. We do not look to make a profit - just to break even and for everyone to have a great time! £15 is a snip for a band of this calibre.
Free parking in the hall car park. To avoid any confusion, this is at the St Giles Church Hall, Church Street, Whittington, Lichfield WS14 9LE. (The postcode that comes up on the map is the same place - just the wrong side of the road.) Just head for the church. The car park should be big enough but If space does turn out to be tight, there is plenty of road parking on Back Lane. This is the LH turning just before you get to the hall. You can also feel free to block us in, in the area by the hall entrance.
