Balboa - the social swing dance style from Southern California of the 1930s still danced today. A closed hold partner dance for fast swing music, Balboa is now danced at all tempos.

In the Introductory workshop, we'll be learning the two basic rhythms and understanding the body-to-body connection to reveal how the dance works.
In the Beginners course, we'll be building on those foundations to start to build our repertoire for the social dance floor.
Ideal for complete beginners; for those who want a better grounding in the basics; for regular dancers who understand the benefits of always working on their basics; and for anyone who is interested in "switching" roles.
