The fabulous Leeds City Stomper will be playing at our next Sunday afternoon balboa dance. Think American prohibition. They are The Washboard Resonators plus a great bass player. Perfect for dancing bal.
It will be at our lovely venue just outside Lichfield in Whittington. The hall has a wonderful well polished sprung wooden dance floor and there’s a free cream tea included.
To be sure of a place, buy your ticket in advance -either online or book with cash at class. £15 in advance only. Tickets are limited. £18 on the door if there are any tickets left.
Free parking in the hall car park. To avoid any confusion, this is at the St Giles Church Hall, Church Street, Whittington, Lichfield WS14 9LE. (The postcode that comes up on the map is the same place - just the wrong side of the road.) Just head for the church. The car park should be big enough but If space does turn out to be tight, there is plenty of road parking on Back Lane. This is the LH turning just before you get to the hall. You can also feel free to block us in, in the area by the hall entrance.
