Celebrating the centenery of the Savoy Ballroom, which opened 12 March 1926!
6.45pm - 8.15pm (1.5hrs). A talk with photos of the building, newspaper notices and more, bringing to life the impact, significance and lasting legacy of the Home of Happy Feet, the Most Beautiful Ballroom in the World, the iconic Savoy Ballroom, in particular of course, its role in the development and spread of the Lindy Hop.
We're planning to provide room for 30 mins of social dancing after the talk (we may have to move from classroom to dance studio)
