Beginners Collegiate Shag Classes

Come and learn Collegiate Shag, a fun up-tempo swing dance from the 1930's . The beginners course is for complete beginners new to the dance, or those of you who have done a bit and want to go over your basics, style and give you a solid technique.

Beginners : 7:30 to 8:30
Practice 8:30 - to 8:45

Shag Plus
Shag Plus will run from 8:45 until 9:45. You are confident dancing your shag, you have been dancing Shag for a while and don't think about your basic footwork, expect variations and combo's

Shag Plus 8:45 to 9:45
Practice 9:45 - 10pm

Jim and Nicky have been teaching on both the national and international swing dance circuit for more years than they care to admit. Collegiate Shag is their true passion, and they have dedicated themselves to sharing it with dancers around the world.

They have taught, performed, and judged at many of the major Collegiate Shag camps nationally, earning a reputation for their expertise, energy, and love of the dance.
