Energetic. Playful. Creative. At Swing Shift, we teach authentic Lindy Hop, true to its roots as an African American art form that’s over a century old. This partner dance isn’t about learning fixed sequences of moves – it’s about creating momentum, and sensing and responding in real time. And the soundtrack? Banging jazz tunes all the way.

In our improver classes, you'll learn:

- Drills to help you develop your understanding of authentic Lindy Hop movements and rhythms
- Short sequences of classic moves
- Core principles for leading and following
- Core principles for momentum and flow
- Options for variations
- Solo jazz moves to spice things up
- Musicality and expression

Each session is an hour-long class followed by half an hour of social dancing and practice time. No partner needed. Open to total beginners.

The drop-in price is £10 on the door in cash or card, no need to book in advance.
