Beginners/improvers welcome?
​You bet! We know the idea of coming along to a social dance can feel mildly terrifying. But it's a great opportunity to try out a few moves (we're a friendly bunch, and everyone was a newbie once upon a time), meet people, soak up the atmosphere, and get better acquainted with the music. (If you're currently doing one of our courses, you get free entry.)

Where to park?
​The closest public car park is called Avenue Road. You'll also find some on-street parking on the roads nearby which is free in the evenings. Please allow enough time track down an on-street space if that's your plan, and always check the signs for restrictions.

What to wear?
​Whatever you feel comfortable in. We tend to keep things casual ourselves, but some folks like to dress up. It's down to you.

What to bring?​
It could get warm, so most people bring a change of clothes (and some deodorant)! Also, a big bottle of bottle of water to top up your hydration levels. There are hangers for coats at the venue but no cloakroom, so we recommend packing a tidy bag.

Food and drink?​
The venue has a bar selling soft drinks and alcohol, which you're welcome to make use of! Please avoid bringing in your own supplies other than a bottle of water. We also recommend keeping a snack in your bag to gobble on the way home. You might be hungry ...
