Help for Event Organisers and Dance Organisations

I organise dance events and would like to add them to the website. How do I do this?

Click join now and follow the steps to join as a Member, and tick the box near the bottom of the page for "I am an organiser and would like to register my organisation in order to list events". Complete the information required and click the pink "Submit Registration" button at the top of the page.

I have already registered my organisation, how do I add my events?

Please login, then click on the "Add Event" option towards the right of the dark green menu bar near the top of the page. To update information about your organisation, venues or events click on the "Admin" on the far right of the menu bar, or follow this link to your administration area.

Do I have to pay to advertise my events on the website?

No, there is no charge and we provide free listings for everyone. However we offer organisations the opportunity to contribute towards the running, administration and on-going development costs for AreYouDancing from as little as £10 + VAT per year. In return for which you will receive more prominent and higher priority listings. You will also be able to display your logo and other images, as well as full information in generous sized "description" fields.

I don’t have time to update my information – can you do this for me?

We can add/update your events for as little as £1 + VAT per month (min one year), depending on the size of your organisation, and the number of updates required. Please contact us for more information.

Are there any other benefits for event organisers and class teachers?

We provide a link to your own website, and can also provide you with a calendar showing only your own events on your website. If you do not have a website we can build one for you from as little as £30 + VAT per year, with no set up fee. For more information on these and other benefits please see Organiser Benefits.

I don’t have a website, can you help me set one up?

We would be very happy to help. We can build a simple 3-page website for you from as little as £30 + VAT per year, with no set up fee. For a larger website we charge a set up fee from £75 + VAT. Can I add events on behalf of other organisers to the website?

Yes you can. Please do check with them first to make sure they are happy for you to do so. Most organisers will be very grateful for your offer.

I run a website listing dance events/classes. Can I use your data on my website?

Yes. There are many different websites on the Internet. Some list events in a particular geographic region, others focus on a specific dance style. Others offer a particular service such as finding dance partners, or have active forums. We are happy for our data to be used in a wide range of websites and already work with a number of website organisers. Please contact us for more information.
